We are seeking an experienced API Architect to lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and cloud-native API solutions for enterprise banking applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in API architecture, microservices, cloud platforms, security, and enterprise integration while driving API governance and best practices across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Define enterprise API architecture strategy aligned with business objectives.
* Design and develop scalable REST, GraphQL, and SOAP APIs.
* Create and maintain API standards, governance, versioning, and lifecycle management.
* Develop API specifications using OpenAPI/Swagger.
* Architect cloud-native solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
* Design and implement microservices using Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
* Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
* Implement enterprise API security using OAuth2, JWT, SAML, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and TLS.
* Design event-driven architectures using Kafka and RabbitMQ.
* Implement API Gateway solutions for routing, throttling, monitoring, and security.
* Build CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
* Automate deployment, testing, and monitoring of API platforms.
* Optimize API infrastructure, scalability, performance, and availability.
* Collaborate with enterprise architects, developers, DevOps, and security teams.
* Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams.
