Responsibilities:
- Analyze and review existing Tableau dashboards to understand underlying data sources, joins, calculated fields, and visualizations.
- Replicate Tableau visualizations, calculated fields, and data models in Superset ensuring functionality is preserved or enhanced.
- Optimize performance of Superset dashboards and SQL queries to handle large datasets efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate migration of data visualizations and reports.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 year of hands-on experience with Apache Superset.
- 8 years or more in data analytics, business intelligence, or related fields.
- Proven experience with Tableau and other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik, etc.).
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server).
- Expertise in data modeling, data structures, and ETL processes.
- Ability to translate Tableau dashboards and reports into Apache Superset.
- Understanding of backend data connections and optimization of data queries in Superset.
- Familiarity with YugabyteDB or similar distributed SQL databases.
