The ideal candidate will have experience in breast pathology, general surgical pathology, and frozen sections while working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology (AP/CP)
- Minimum of two years of practice experience preferred
- Fellowship training or subspecialty expertise preferred
- Strong proficiency in:
- Breast Pathology
- General Surgical Pathology
- Clinical pathology interpretations
- Frozen section procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Active Texas Medical License or eligibility to obtain one
- Join a team of three full-time pathologists with PRN support for coverage
- Approximately 7,000 surgical pathology cases annually at the primary practice location
- Additional affiliated case volume from a neighboring hospital
- Average workload of approximately 13 cases per day
- Frozen section coverage shared across multiple practice locations, with centralized case sign-out
