Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant
Salary: $60,000 – $70,000

Key Responsibilities for the AP Accountant:
• Process and review vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Maintain the accounts payable ledger and vendor files
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare and process vendor payments accurately and on schedule
• Assist with month-end close, including accruals and AP reporting
• Coordinate with internal departments to obtain approvals and resolve issues
• Support audits and respond to auditor requests related to accounts payable
• Assist with the implementation and continuous improvement of AP processes and controls
Qualifications for the AP Accountant:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 2–4 years of accounts payable or related accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP best practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software; ERP experience a plus
• High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
