Job OpportunityContract to Hire – Accounts Payable Accountant Location: Fort Mill, SC Schedule: Onsite Compensation: $28–$32/hour Position Type: Contract to Hire Our manufacturing client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Accountant to join their team in a contract to hire capacity. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced manufacturing environment and has strong experience processing high volume invoices, managing vendor relationships, and supporting the month end close process.ResponsibilitiesProcess high volume weekly invoices accurately and timelyMatch purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documentationReview and reconcile vendor statementsInvestigate and resolve invoice discrepanciesAssist with weekly check runs and ACH/wire paymentsMaintain accurate AP records and documentationSupport month end close activities including accruals and reconciliationsCommunicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment inquiriesEnsure compliance with company policies and internal controlsQualifications2+ years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably within manufacturingExperience processing high volume invoicesStrong understanding of AP processes and reconciliationsERP system experience preferredIntermediate Excel skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work onsite in Fort Mill, VA
