AODA Residential Program AssistantSalary Range $37,440.00 - $50,000.00 Salary/yearFull-Time | 3rd Shifts + Weekends / A bonus is available for positions scheduled on the 3rd shift and weekends only. Sign-On Bonus: $1,000Responsible for assisting the Lead Program Assistant in the daily operations of the Women's/Men's AODA Residential Center and attending a required staff meeting.Provide daily supervision and support to program residents/clients, monitoring and aware of clients' whereabouts at all times, ensuring the health and safety of the residents /clientsDaily implementations of policies and daily rulesConduct orientations with new clientsArrive 15 minutes early to shift start for medication count. Administer medication in an accurate and timely mannerComplete applicable daily and weekly checklist coordination with shift worked (when working at the women's residential also complete with clientele who have children/infants at the treatment facility daily care logs)Conduct room searches, inspections during a shift to ensure cleanliness, safety in all areas and to identify any needed repairsAssist residents in developing life skills, being prompt to appointments, being courteous, cleaning skills, cooking skills, child care/nurturing skills, etc.Maintain a professional relationship with clients and staffReport any and all inoperable equipment/tools to the Manager of OperationsEnsure the facility remains alcohol and drug-free, conduct random urine drug screen on all clients twice weeklyAssign and supervise resident chores, assisting when necessary to ensure that proper house standards are maintained at all timesMonitor meal preparations and food distributionEnsure fire regulations are followed, including conducting regular emergency drillsEnsure residents basic needs are met including meals, exercise, hygiene, and sleep, the daily schedule is followed, attendance at medical, dental, counseling, or other social service appointments including transportation as neededModel healthy interactions and respectful communication with residents, effectively communicates behavior choices to residents, outlining the positive and negative consequences of their choices, ensure confidentiality is maintained, chars are secure and in state-mandated order, follow all HIPAA standardsCommunications is adjusted to meet the residents' development levelProvide feedback that is clear, specific, timely, and respectfulCoordinates and/or provide transportation to residents as needed, in company pr personal vehicleDaily, review of staff communications logs, maintain master weekly clients appointments schedule, prepare maintenance and supplies requestedQualificationsMinimum of High School Diploma, Associate Degree preferred. Professional experience with supervision preferred. Bilingual (Spanish/English) desirable.
Experience in the field of substance abuse treatment. Valid WI driver's license and insured vehicle. Ability to drive a 16-passenger agency van.Working Conditions:Business environment, general office, local travel as requested
