Antitrust Associate AttorneyLocations: New York, New York; Washington, DCDirect Counsel is seeking an Antitrust Associate to join the nationally recognized Antitrust Practice Group of a premier global law firm. This is an exceptional opportunity for an associate with antitrust litigation, merger review, or regulatory counseling experience to work on sophisticated domestic and cross-border antitrust matters for leading global clients.The practice is known for handling high-stakes antitrust litigation, merger investigations, government enforcement actions, and strategic counseling matters across a broad range of industries. Attorneys in this group work closely with experienced trial lawyers, former government officials, and strategic advisors on cutting-edge competition law issues.ResponsibilitiesAdvise clients on a broad range of antitrust and competition law mattersHandle civil antitrust litigation and government investigationsAssist with: Merger reviews and HSR filingsTransactional antitrust counselingMerger compliance mattersInternal and government investigationsDraft court filings, motions, memoranda, and agency submissionsParticipate in all phases of litigation, including: Taking and defending depositionsManaging discoveryConducting legal researchAssisting with trial preparationAdvise clients on business strategies and antitrust risk managementWork collaboratively with attorneys across litigation, regulatory, and transactional practicesQualificationsJ.D.
