Anticipated Pre-K Floating Teaching Assistant
Join our early childhood education team as a Teaching Assistant to work in preschool classrooms in various buildings. Hours vary depending on assignment, from 30 to 35 hours per week. The role of the Pre-K Floating Teaching Assistant is to support teaching and learning in the ICSD Early Childhood Program by covering the roles of teachers and staff. Other duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with planning/implementing lessons and learning activities using different collaborative/differentiated models
- Stay flexible and step in to relieve staff for lunch or other breaks.
- Assist individual students as needed, support student growth and independence
- Show professionalism and good rapport in working with classroom team members
- Help lead teachers organize materials, prep materials, clean up learning spaces and support personnel such as service providers, educators, and administrators.

Required Qualifications:

- Must have teaching Assistant certification or be working towards obtaining teaching assistant certification
Salary Range: $18.30/hr. Based on the 25-26 ESP salary grid, a new contract is currently in negotiations
