Speech-Language Assistant
Join our team! We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Assistant to support our Speech-Language Pathologists in providing high-quality services to students. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping students improve their communication skills and thrive in the school environment. Salary Range: $45,000-$50,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in delivering therapy sessions
- Implement individualized therapy plans under the direction of the SLP
- Collect data on student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Prepare materials and resources for therapy sessions
- Support students in developing speech, language, and communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or coursework in communication sciences preferred
- Previous experience working with children or in educational settings preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively with an SLP
