Middle School Social Studies Teacher
Leave Replacement Dates: November 16, 2026 through February 13, 2027
Pay: $200/day
Qualifications:
- Valid NJ Teaching Certificate
- Experience working with middle school students (preferred)
- Proficiency in Google Classroom, G-Suite
- Desires to promote a greater awareness of and engagement in global issues by combining interdisciplinary academic learning with application to real-world experiences
- Passion for community engagement and service
- Knowledge of effective instructional practices and strategies
- Knowledge of the New Jersey Standards for Student Learning for Social Studies
- Ability to collaborate effectively
- Knowledge of assessment and data analysis for instructional purposes
- Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, and good moral character
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with staff, students, parents, administrators, and the community
