EXPECTED TERM: On or about October 23, 2026, to January 4, 2027
REPORTS TO: Elementary School Principal and other appropriate administrators
Job Goal/Summary:
This is a long-term substitute position to provide instruction for students.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Experience and expertise in student behavior management and collaborative problem solving
2. Ability to provide leadership to staff in areas of specialization
3. Excellent interpersonal skills to consult effectively with teachers, administrators, and parents, in a variety of settings
4. Ability to follow valid IEP's and to follow IDEA and 504 procedures
5. Maintain integrity of confidential information relating to students, staff, or district patrons
6. Knowledge of age-appropriate teaching methods, state curriculum framework, education and special education law and appropriate instructional subjects
7. Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
8. Instructional I Pennsylvania Certification in Special Education
9. Valid clearances
