The Accounting Area of the UCLA Anderson School of Management is seeking to fill a position at the assistant professor level starting in the academic year. As an Assistant Professor, the final candidate will teach courses in management, particularly in the area of accounting. They will conduct research related to accounting and advise students. They will also serve on departmental and university committees.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree (or equivalent) or expect to complete their Ph.D. by June 2027. Assistant professors with experience will also be considered.
In evaluating applications, the search committee seeks evidence of outstanding research and teaching potential. Evidence that a candidate's teaching, research, or service can also contribute to an inclusive campus climate that supports excellence will be viewed as a further strength.
A reasonable estimated salary range for the Assistant Professor position is $250,000 - $275,000, inclusive of the salary scale and off-scale salary components. posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment. See Table 3.
