This opportunity is based on a Machine Operator career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.Job DutiesSet up, operate, and monitor annealing furnaces to heat-treat metal products according to production specifications.Manage and maintain operation of up to four furnaces simultaneously, ensuring consistent output and quality.Load and unload materials safely and efficiently into furnaces.Set and adjust furnace temperature, timing, and cycle controls based on documented procedures and requirements.Follow established processes for the production and treatment of various metal alloys.Inspect finished materials to verify conformance to required physical and mechanical properties.Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of furnace equipment to ensure optimal performance.Maintain accurate production records and documentation as required.Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and proactively support a culture of safety, including reporting incidents and near misses.Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.Demonstrate core values in all interactions and responsibilities.Perform additional duties as assigned to support production needs.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferredPrior experience operating annealing furnaces or similar heat-treatment equipment strongly preferredUnderstanding of metal properties, heat-treating processes, and alloy handling is a plusStrong mechanical aptitude and ability to monitor and adjust equipment settingsAbility to read and follow detailed work instructions and production documentationStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality assuranceAbility to manage multiple tasks and processes simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentBasic troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsCommitment to workplace safety and compliance standardsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within a teamBenefitsCompetitive Weekly PayComprehensive Benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverageLife and Disability Insurance for added peace of mindOptional 401(k) Plan to help you prepare for the futureSafety-Focused Manufacturing Environment with opportunities for training and advancement"Really good at finding you a site to work at.
