The ANM Emergency Department position at Cleveland Clinic involves supporting the nurse manager in supervising RN staff and nursing support personnel while ensuring effective patient care delivery in the Emergency Department.

What You'll Do
- Provide direction and support to unit staff and supervise admissions.
- Conduct assessments of patients' needs and initiate nursing care plans.
- Evaluate and document patient progress.
- Facilitate planning, implementation, development, and evaluation of nursing programs.
- Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Identify and resolve issues affecting patient care services.
- Prepare schedules of work assignments to ensure adequate coverage.
- Participate in and support quality improvement projects and research initiatives.
- Assist in orienting new personnel and continuing education programs.
- Participate in department committees as assigned.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
Experience:
- Minimum two years recent clinical nurse experience required.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or American Red Cross required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required for Critical Care areas.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required for Emergency Department.
- ONS Chemo/Bio course completion required for units administering chemo.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) required for Dedicated Trauma Centers.
