Position Overview

The Animator Volunteer will support the creation of engaging visual content for Autism Today’s digital platforms. This includes logo animations, intro/outro sequences, motion graphics, and short promotional videos that help strengthen our brand and enhance audience engagement.

This role is ideal for someone looking to build their animation portfolio while contributing to meaningful nonprofit initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Animation & Motion Graphics

  • Create logo animations and branded visual assets
  • Design intro and outro animations for videos
  • Develop simple motion graphics for social media content
  • Create short promotional animations and marketing visuals
  • Ensure animations align with Autism Today's branding

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Marketing and Video teams
  • Support ongoing campaigns and creative projects
  • Contribute ideas for engaging visual content

Qualifications

  • Basic to intermediate experience with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate, Blender, Canva, CapCut, or similar animation tools
  • Understanding of basic animation and motion design principles
  • Creativity and attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and collaborate with a team
  • Passion for nonprofit, educational, or community-focused work

Preferred Qualities

  • Interest in branding and digital storytelling
  • Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to contribute to a meaningful cause
