Account Executive at Stratacuity: Proven Scientific Placement

Our Boston based client is looking for a dedicated Animal Care Technician to assist their team and support part-time weekend (Saturday & Sunday) operations in their animal care facility. This role is essential for maintaining high standards of animal welfare and ensuring smooth lab workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily care for research animals (feeding, watering, monitoring health).
• Clean and maintain cages, equipment, and facility spaces.
• Assist with handling, restraint, and routine procedures under supervision.
• Monitor animal health and report concerns to veterinary or research staff.
• Maintain accurate records of care, treatments, and facility checks.
• Support compliance with animal welfare regulations and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in animal science or related field preferred.
• Experience in animal care, veterinary, or research settings is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to animal welfare.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
