This role is ideal for an experienced full-stack engineer with deep Angular front-end experience, strong backend development skills, and a proven ability to design and support scalable APIs in a complex enterprise environment.You will play a key role in building modern, secure, and high-performing applications that support Fidelity’s financial services platforms, while collaborating closely with product owners, architects, and other engineering teams in a hybrid on-site model.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain web applications using Angular (latest versions preferred)Build and enhance backend services and RESTful APIs supporting enterprise-scale applicationsCollaborate with architects and senior engineers on system design, integrations, and technical decisionsEnsure solutions meet performance, security, scalability, and compliance requirementsWrite high-quality, testable, and maintainable code following best practicesParticipate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussionsTroubleshoot production issues and contribute to root cause analysis and remediationMentor junior developers and help drive engineering standards and best practicesRequired Qualifications7+ years of professional software development experienceStrong hands-on experience with Angular (TypeScript, RxJS, component-based architecture)Solid experience with backend development (Java, Spring Boot,.NET, or similar enterprise frameworks)Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIsStrong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and design patternsExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automated testingPreferred QualificationsExperience with financial services, investments, or regulated environmentsExposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred)Experience with microservices architectureKnowledge of security best practices (authentication, authorization, data protection)Strong communication skills and ability to work across distributed teams
