Sutter Medical Group (SMG) is seeking a dynamic physician leader in Anesthesiology to shape the future of care delivery across their expanding anesthesia service footprint. This unique opportunity combines strategic leadership (0.5 aFTE) with flexible clinical practice (0.1–0.5 FTE) in a growing, highly collaborative environment. The role involves developing and deploying strategy to integrate CRNAs into the anesthesia workforce.

• Flexible, shift-based clinical opportunities across a broad geographic footprint

Responsibilities

• Shape the future of care delivery across the expanding anesthesia service footprint
• Combine strategic leadership with flexible clinical practice
• Develop and deploy strategy to hire CRNAs as part of the anesthesia workforce

Compensation

• $257,600 - $600,000 /Yr
• Competitive compensation - administrative compensation plus clinical compensation (depending on clinical FTE)

Requirements

• BE/BC in Anesthesiology
• Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical practice
• Minimum 2 years of progressive medical group leadership and participation in leadership development
• Experience with strategic planning cross specialty collaboration
• Strong business acumen including strategic planning and cross- specialty collaboration
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Experience working with CRNAs
