Anesthesiology Physician

Locums - Potsdam, New York Anesthesiology Job

Start Date:

• ASAP

Contract Length:

• 6 months, ongoing as needed

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
• Weekday call: 3:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m.
• Weekend call: Friday at 7:00 a.m.-Monday at 7:00 a.m.
• Weekday and weekend call required

Upcoming Coverage Dates:

• 10/19/ /23/2026: No weekday call (MD)
• 11/05/ /13/2026: Weekend call 11/6-11/8 and weekday call 11/10 and 11/12 (MD)
• 12/21/ /30/2026: Holiday call 12/24-12/27 (MD); very urgent coverage needed due to no full-time provider available to take call

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Inpatient anesthesia
• OB anesthesia
• Epidurals
• General anesthesia
• Schedule surgeries
• May involve CRNA supervision
• Other duties as assigned
• Must be comfortable working in a rural, critical access setting

Patient Volume:

• Approximately 10-15 patients

EMR:

• Epic experience required

Requirements:

• Board Certified
• Active New York license
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• PALS required
• AHA or RQI certification
