Anesthesiology Physician

Locums - Northampton, Massachusetts, Anesthesiology Job

Start Date: 01/04/2027

Schedule & Coverage:

• Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM

• Minimum commitment of 3 weeks per month

• Independent practice with no supervision

• Provider assigned to the operating room or endoscopy

Practice Details:

• EMR: Epic

• Patient population: Adults and healthy pediatric patients

• Minimum endoscopy volume: 16-20 cases per day

• Regional anesthesia skills strongly preferred

Clinical Responsibilities & Procedures:

• Provide independent anesthesia services for:

  • General surgery

  • Plastic surgery

  • Orthopedics

  • Urology

  • Gynecology

  • Endoscopy

  • Healthy pediatric cases

• Perform regional anesthesia and various nerve blocks, including pediatric blocks

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Board certification required

• Active Massachusetts medical license

• Active Massachusetts DEA

• Minimum 1 year of experience

Required Certifications:

• BLS

• ACLS

• ABA certification or eligibility
