Anesthesiology Physician

Coverage Need:

• • Full-time or at least 2 weeks per month

  • MUST take call

  • Ongoing need until permanent replacements are secured

• Privileges: Temporary privileges available for clean files

• Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible

• Experience Requirements:

  • Must have OB anesthesia experience , including labor epidurals and unscheduled C-sections

  • Must meet all listed parameters for submission

• Description of Work:

  • Cover bread-and-butter surgical cases as the primary anesthesiologist

  • High volume in orthopedics and general surgery

  • Includes OB call ; assignments directed by the Chief/Acting Chief

  • Collaborative, team-based OR environment

• Procedures & Surgeries:

  • Required: All standard surgical anesthesia (no CT, neuro, or cranial cases)

  • Preferred: OB/Gyn, Ortho, General Surgery, Plastics, Vascular, Colo-rectal, ENT, GI, Urology

  • Regional blocks for OR cases (no outpatient pain management)

  • Pediatrics optional (healthy children only; no high-risk peds)

• Schedule:

  • Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM

  • Includes call coverage as agreed upon

• Workload:

  • 4 5 cases per day

  • deliveries per year

• Environment:

  • 100% OR & L&D coverage (no clinic)

  • 9 main ORs (constructed 18 years ago)

  • Trauma Level: Level III (ACS verified)

• Staffing Structure:

  • 15 MDs (including per diems)

  • 2 CRNAs, anesthesia techs, PAs, nurses, OR techs
