Client is seeking a board-certified Anesthesiologist to join its anesthesia team in Derry, New Hampshire.
This opportunity is well suited for an experienced anesthesiologist who is comfortable practicing independently overnight and enjoys a medically directed anesthesia model with a diverse surgical case mix.
The practice offers a structured call schedule, post-call time off, and opportunities for additional weekday shifts.
Practice & Staffing Model:
4 MD / 3 CRNA staffing model
Medically directed anesthesia model
5 anesthetizing rooms
Approximately 2,400 cases annually
Approximately 7 cases per day
EMR: Medaxion
Regional anesthetic and nerve blocks required
Case Mix:
The practice offers a broad range of cases, including:
General surgery
ENT
GI/endoscopy
Gynecology
Minor cardiac procedures, including pacemakers and cardioversion
Orthopedics
Podiatry
Urology
Vascular surgery
Regional anesthesia, including spinals and nerve blocks
Healthy pediatric patients 6 months and older
Exclusions:
No open-heart surgery
No neurosurgery
No kidney transplant cases
Schedule & Call:
The position primarily involves 24-hour call shifts from 7:00 AM 7:00 AM.
Approximately 6 twenty-four-hour shifts per month
Approximately 1 weekend call per month
Weekend call runs Friday at 7:00 AM through Monday at 7:00 AM
Post-call day off provided
Additional weekday shifts may be available
Day shifts available: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
Pager-based call model for weekdays and weekends
No backup pager
The on-call provider is the in-house MD
CRNAs do not carry the call pager
Qualifications:
Board certification required
ABA or AOBA credentials
Must be comfortable practicing independently overnight
Experience with regional anesthesia and nerve blocks required
Ability to manage a broad range of surgical cases within the program's scope
Compensation:
Additional scheduling opportunities may be available through weekday day shifts and other coverage needs.
