Shift Details
Day shift coverage
8, 10, or 12-hour shifts available
Shift hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Overtime not expected but offered

Requirements
Must be Board Certified
ECFMG and FLEX
Completion of approved Residency in Anesthesia
Willing to accept candidates needing to obtain Maryland license

Required Procedures / Skills
General, Obstetric, and Pediatric Anesthesiology
Pre-anesthesia assessment
Obtain and/or verify patient consent
Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitor patient physiological condition
Perform clinical interventions as needed
Supervise CRNAs

Assignment Details
Flexible assignment duration
Case types: General, Neuro, Ortho
Charting system: Epic
8 anesthesia rooms
MD supervision of CRNAs required
MD to CRNA ratio: 1:3 and 1:4
MDs do not perform their own cases
Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department
