Assignment Details
  • Practice Setting: Hospital-Based Anesthesiology
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday
  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM-3:00 PM
  • Call Hours: 3:00 PM-7:00 AM
  • Call: Required when working a full week
  • Call Response Time: 30 minutes
  • Guarantee: 8-hour guarantee
Clinical Responsibilities
  • General anesthesia coverage
  • High-volume general surgery
  • Endoscopy procedures
  • Orthopedic cases
  • Obstetric anesthesia
  • Podiatry cases
  • ENT cases
OB Details
  • Approximately 250 deliveries per year
  • VBAC experience required
  • No high-risk OB
  • C-sections performed in the Main OR
Procedures Required
  • Spinals: Proficiency Required
  • Blocks: Proficiency Required
  • Epidurals: Proficiency Required
Case Logs
  • Required
  • Must provide proof of epidural, spinal, and block experience
Department Details
  • Daytime Providers: 1 MD / 2 CRNAs
  • Operating Rooms: 3
  • Endoscopy Rooms: 2
EMR
  • Epic
Licenses & Certifications
  • Board Certification: Required
  • Active Indiana License: Required
Additional Details
  • Must be comfortable working independently with CRNA support
  • Experience with OB, VBACs, and a broad surgical case mix required
