Physician - Pediatrics - Endocrinology

Job Details:

• Provide inpatient/outpatient and telehealth coverage for Pediatric Endocrinology


• Clinic schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with weeknight beeper call and 24-hour beeper call on weekends


• Full-time coverage split between two weeks per month in clinic and two weeks per month of virtual hospital call coverage


• In-person clinic includes night call during the week and 24-hour weekend call coverage


• Virtual call coverage (not onsite) consists of 24-hour-a-day call for the remaining two weeks


• Will consider multiple providers offering at least one week per month


• Guaranteed 8 hours per day with overtime applied after 40 clinical hours per week


• Approximately 15 patient encounters per shift


• Board certification required; candidates who can obtain a temporary AK state license while full licensure is in process will be considered


• Active DEA required


• Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, and PALS


• Long-term, ongoing commitment preferred for continuity of care
