An excellent opportunity is available for an Anesthesiologist to join a group practice in Wilmington, NC, serving a 678-bed tertiary care center. This role with North American Partners in Anesthesia involves providing anesthesia services across various locations in the Cape Fear region. Practice Info
- Serving a 678-bed tertiary care center, New Hanover Regional Medical Center, a Level II trauma center.
- Provides anesthesia services to multiple locations across the Cape Fear region, including Caper Fear (Orthopedic) Hospital, Pender Memorial Hospital, Dosher Hospital (Southport), Atlantic Surgi Center, and various office-based settings.
- Case Assignments: Heart and Vascular, Pediatrics, Neurosurgery, Endos, Orthopedics and OB/GYN.
- Near 100% CRNA Supervision.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
- Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
- Pre-anesthesia assessment
- Obtain and/or verify patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Compensation
- Salary package: $425,000 non-call taking & $555,000 call taking
- Relocation Assistance: Up to $5,000
- Sign On Incentives including Loan Repayment and Training Assistance options: $50,000 for 2 year commitment

Requirements
- M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
- ECFMG and FLEX
- Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
- Currently licensed as a physician
