Sanford Health is seeking a BC/BE Anesthesiologist to join their growing practice at Marshfield Medical Center - Beaver Dam in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. This role involves providing medical direction to CRNAs and self-performing general and regional anesthesia. The ideal candidate will thrive in a busy practice setting with a favorable week on/week off schedule.
Practice Info

- 2-4 OR's run Monday-Thursday
- Case Mix: Endoscopies, ENT, General Surgery, Gynecology, OB, Ortho, Ophthalmology, Podiatry and Peds (greater than 1 year old)
Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical examinations
- Provide comprehensive management of patients of all ages rendered unconscious or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgical, obstetrical procedures
- Be involved in medical education and research

Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Successful completion of a hospital affiliated residency/fellowship of at least 3-4 years' duration in Anesthesia accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
- Certification by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
- If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
- H-1B visa sponsorship available
- Experience can be demonstrated by providing fellowship log (for recent fellowship completers)
- Experience can be demonstrated by providing a quality profile from hospital(s) showing clinical activity for the past 24 months, including numbers of procedures performed, morbidity, mortality, infection rates and other complications (for applicants not directly out of residency)
- Must be able to demonstrate active involvement in at least 200 Anesthesia cases in the last 24 months
