Role Description
This full- or part-time, on-site Anesthesiologist role is based in Wenatchee, WA and supports perioperative care across a range of surgical and procedural services. The Anesthesiologist will evaluate patients preoperatively, develop individualized anesthesia plans, and administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care in inpatient and outpatient settings. Daily responsibilities include monitoring and managing patients’ vital functions during procedures, providing post-anesthesia assessment and pain management, and responding to emergencies and critical care situations as needed. The role involves close collaboration with surgeons, nursing staff, and other clinicians to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care. The Anesthesiologist will also participate in quality improvement activities, follow evidence-based guidelines, and contribute to a culture of safety and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Clinical expertise in Anesthesiology, including preoperative assessment, intraoperative management, and postoperative care.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution; completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited anesthesiology residency.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Anesthesiology; current, unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in Washington State.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and decision-making skills, with commitment to compassionate, inclusive, and patient-centered care.
