Anesthesiologist

• Anesthesia team model with CRNA and/or anesthesia residents

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time
• Schedule may vary between five - 8 hour days, Monday thru Friday, and four - 10 hour days with a weekday off
• On Call is required and will be shared equally amongst Staff Anesthesiologist which will include, evenings, nights, weekends and holiday's
• Compressed Work Schedule: Authorized

Responsibilities

• Initial evaluation and overall workups, and focused history & physicals of medical/surgical patients as needed, including evaluation of patients as part of our preoperative anesthesia clinic
• Peri-operative anesthetic care to patients, including pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic administration and monitoring, and post-anesthesia care in an anesthesia team model with CRNA and/or anesthesia residents
• Provide expertise with a wide variety of anesthesia techniques and procedures including regional and spinal anesthesia
• Teach anesthesia residents, medical students, student nurse anesthetists, and other trainees
• Participate in quality/performance improvement initiatives, committees, and any other relevant activities as appropriate
• Participate in clinical research for interested candidates
• Effectively work with patients and coworkers and maintain a dedication to treating other health care professionals and patients' families with respect and dignity

Qualifications

• Board Certified anesthesiologist
• 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory
• No significant restriction on moonlighting
