Prince William Medical Center, part of the Novant Health UVA Health System, is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join their team in Manassas, VA. This role involves providing comprehensive anesthesia care across a variety of surgical procedures, including OB/GYN, orthopedics, and bariatrics. The successful candidate will contribute to departmental coordination and clinical leadership within a dynamic acute care hospital setting.

  • Practice services Prince William Hospital and Haymarket Medical Center
  • Prince William Medical Center campus features an acute care hospital with 130 beds and around-the-clock emergency room services
  • Prince William Medical Center campus includes a behavioral health facility, fitness and wellness centers, and the Prince William Ambulatory Surgery Center
  • Haymarket Medical Center is a community hospital with 60 beds

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
  • Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
  • Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
  • Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
  • Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
  • Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Compensation

  • Salary: $520,000
  • Sign-on bonus incentives: $70,000

Requirements

  • M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
  • ECFMG and FLEX
  • Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
  • Currently licensed as a physician
