Responsibilities
- Case assignments: Regional, Cardiovascular (CV), EP Lab cases, Neurology, Orthopedics, Obstetrics, General, Urology, and Well Peds, Pulmonary (bronchoscopy), Gastroenterology (EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP), Interventional Radiology
- Pre-anesthesia assessment
- Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed
- Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
Compensation
- Salary: $537K
- Sign on Incentive: $30K

Shift & Schedule
- 2 weeks on, 1 week off position
- 18 weeks of 7a-5p shift or 17.5 weeks of call and 17.5 weeks of day shift
Requirements
- M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
- ECFMG and FLEX
- Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
- Currently licensed as a physician in Mississippi
- Board Certification or actively board eligible by the American Board of Anesthesia
