Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport and Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center - Shreveport is seeking applicants to join their team as an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology. Providers will work collaboratively within a robust academic community at the region's only Level I Trauma Center, caring for patients across multiple clinical sites. - Collaborative team including 23 dedicated faculty anesthesiologists and 54 CRNAs
- Vibrant training environment teaching and mentoring 32 residents and 3 pain fellows in an ACGME-accredited program, plus training future neuroanesthesiologists through an ICPNT-certified fellowship
- Diverse clinical exposure across multiple sites, including the Academic Medical Center, St. Mary Medical Center, Feist-Weiller Cancer Center, and OLHS Regional Urology Ambulatory Surgery Center
- Academic community home to 800+ students across Schools of Medicine, Graduate Studies, and Allied Health Professions, with nearly 600 residents and fellows trained annually
- Level I Trauma Center, the only one in the region and one of just two in Louisiana
Responsibilities
- Teach and mentor residents and pain fellows

Compensation
- Board Certified starting pay $600k
- OT and Weekend additional comp

Qualifications
- Board Certified / Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Advanced training/fellowship in Peds, OB, Critical Care, or Cardiac are encouraged to apply
- Eligible for active Louisiana Medical Licensure
- New graduates welcome - mentorship provided to support early-career faculty
