Day Kimball Healthcare is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join their comprehensive network near the CT/RI/MA border. - The network includes Day Kimball Hospital, Day Kimball Medical Group, four healthcare centers, Day Kimball Home Makers, Day Kimball Home Care, and Hospice & Palliative Care of Northeastern Connecticut.
- The hospital is a 104-bed acute care community hospital.
- The facility includes 4 General Operating Rooms, 2 endoscopy suites, and 1 dedicated OB OR.
Responsibilities
- Case assignments include Orthopedics, OB/GYN, urology, ENT, podiatry, cataracts, endoscopy, colonoscopy, TEE, cardioversions, pacemakers, and general surgery.
- Pediatric cases are ENT cases for M&T and adenoidectomies.
- Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department.
- Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures.
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessment.
- Obtain and/or verify patient consent.
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient.
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition.
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed.
Compensation
- Salary: $500,000
- Sign on Incentive: $150,000

Requirements
- M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine.
- ECFMG and FLEX.
- Completion of approved residency in anesthesia.
- Currently licensed as a physician.
