Anesthesiologist - Prime Saint Joseph Medical Center - Full Time

Overview

Position: Anesthesiologist at PRIME Saint Joseph Medical Center, an academic medical center in Joliet, IL. The center is a 480‑bed facility offering a range of specialties including cardiac, thoracic, neuro, general, OB, and healthy pediatrics.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate activities in the Anesthesia Department.
• Perform medical management of patients during surgery and other procedures.
• Conduct pre‑anesthesia assessment, obtain/verifying patient consent, discuss anesthetic options and risks.
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitor patient physiological condition and perform clinical interventions as needed.

Requirements

• M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine.
• ECFMC and FLEX certification.
• Completion of an approved anesthesia residency.
• Current license as a physician.
