Per diem anesthesiologist opportunity at Pocono Ambulatory Surgery Center (PASC), East Stroudsburg, PA.

Description

Pocono Ambulatory Surgery Center opened in 1986 as an Ophthalmic Surgery Center and expanded to a multi‑specialty facility in 1990. Our care team model focuses on giving everyone a voice, supporting, respecting, and helping them deliver care excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing and coordinating activities of the Anesthesia Department.
• Medical management of patients rendered unconscious or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other procedures.
• Conduct pre‑anesthesia assessments.
• Obtain and verify patient consent.
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient.
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitor patient physiological condition.
• Perform clinical interventions as needed.

Requirements

• M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine.
• Completion of an approved residency in anesthesia.
• Current physician licensure.
• ECFMG and FLEX eligibility.

Compensation

W‑2: $200/hr – 1099: $225/hr.
