Oneida Health is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join their award-winning team in Oneida, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a rebuilding anesthesia team, contributing to high-quality patient care in a community hospital setting. The role involves managing a diverse case load, including general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, urology, endo, and OB.

- 8,000 cases annually consisting of Endo, General, Ortho, ENT, L&D, and other specialties

Responsibilities
- Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
- Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
- Pre-anesthesia assessment
- Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Compensation
- Salary: $600K
- Sign-on Incentives (Bonus with/without retention, Training Assistance, or Loan Repayment): $100K

Shift & Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 7am to 5pm
- Beeper call with low call in rate
- Full time Anesthesiologists rotate Mondays off
Requirements
- OB experience is required
- M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
- ECFMG and FLEX
- Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
- Currently licensed as a physician
