The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist for its Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine at Mount Sinai Brooklyn. This role involves providing excellent patient care, ensuring quality outcomes, and maintaining patient satisfaction within a community hospital setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working solo and committed to the mission of the Mount Sinai Health System.
Practice Info
- Community hospital that performs a range of general, orthopedic, vascular and urologic surgery, as well as endoscopy and interventional radiology procedures.
- No obstetrics, pediatrics, or cardiac surgery.
- Small, tight-knit department with an emphasis on collegiality and teamwork.
- Fully integrated Epic Electronic Health Record.
- Mount Sinai Brooklyn is a 212-bed acute-care community hospital.
Responsibilities
- Staff general operating rooms, interventional radiology and endoscopy.
- Collaborate with multi-specialty practice colleagues as an integral part of a world-class health system.
Compensation
- Compensation range from $535,000 to $600,000 (dependent on the amount of call taken, and not including benefits).
- The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.
Shift & Schedule
- Overnight call is from home.
Requirements
- Medical Degree from an Accredited University.
- New York Medical License.
- ABA board certified, or board eligible Anesthesiologist.
- Comfortable working solo.

- Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills.
