Anesthesiologist (Night Float)
BronxCare, NYC’s largest not-for-profit health and teaching hospital system, is seeking a Night Float Anesthesiologist to join its collaborative care team. This role involves providing comprehensive anesthesia care for a diverse range of cases, working closely with the Mount Sinai Health System. - The BronxCare network provides close to 1 million outpatient visits, and ER volume has increased to 140,000 visits annually
- Clinical Collaboration with the Mount Sinai Health System

Responsibilities
- Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
- Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
- Pre-anesthesia assessment
- Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Compensation
- Salary: $620,000
- Sign-on Package: up to $100,000

Shift & Schedule
- 26 weeks on/off
- 7p-7a shift
Requirements
- M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
- ECFMG and FLEX
- Completion of approved Residency in Anesthesia
- Currently licensed as a Physician
