NAPA is seeking per diem Anesthesiologists to join their dedicated team at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center (NFMMC). This role involves providing essential anesthesia services for a diverse range of surgical cases, contributing to the safety and comfort of patients. NFMMC is a leader in cardiovascular, women's health, bariatric weight loss, and primary care, serving the Buffalo-Niagara region and beyond.

- Offers a full range of medical, surgical, rehabilitation, and laboratory and imaging services.
- Team works collaboratively with nurse anesthetists in a care team model.
- Case assignments include general and vascular surgery, gastrointestinal and colorectal cases, orthopedic, neurology & spine, gynecology, urology, and plastics.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department.
- Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures.
- Perform pre-anesthesia assessment.
- Obtain and/or verify patient consent.
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient.
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition.
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed.
Compensation
- W2 per diem $275/hour.
- 1099 $295/hour.
- Completion bonus offered for hours worked.
Requirements
- M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine.
- ECFMG and FLEX.
- Completion of approved residency in anesthesia.
- Currently licensed as a physician.
