Anesthesiologist

This hospital is seeking a locum tenens anesthesiologist on a PRN basis starting in October for ongoing coverage within the Anesthesia Department. Clinicians will provide anesthesia services under a physician supervision model during 10-hour day shifts, primarily supervising CRNAs while remaining prepared to perform independent cases as needed. The varied surgical caseload includes General, Orthopedic, Endoscopy, OB, and GYN procedures, with optional Cardiac cases available.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services under a physician supervision model during 10-hour day shifts
• Supervise CRNAs
• Perform independent cases as needed
• Provide beeper call on weekdays following the regular day shift
• Provide in-house call over weekends

• Dates needed: October - Ongoing; sporadic dates: Oct 23-31; Nov 1-6, 9, 12, 16-18, 20, 24; Dec 2-3, 5-6, 11, 15-18, 21, 23-26
• Shift type: Day Shift, Call, In-House Call
• 10-hour day shifts
• Call coverage includes beeper call on weekdays following the regular day shift and in-house call over weekends
• Optional 24-hr call available

Requirements

• Board certification in Anesthesiology is required
