AnesthesiologistWe are currently seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Anesthesiologist to join our growing team. This full-time position offers flexibility in scheduling, with or without call responsibility. Case types will vary based on facility needs.
You would have the opportunity to work in a major trauma center and/or two outpatient surgical hospitals. One of which was recognized as a center of Excellence in Anesthesia!Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver safe and effective anesthesia care to patients across various surgical specialtiesConduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and formulate anesthetic plansMonitor patients throughout the perioperative period and respond to any complicationsSupervise and collaborate with CRNAs and other team members as neededMaintain accurate and timely documentationUphold high standards for patient safety, ethics, and clinical excellenceParticipate in quality improvement activities and continuing educationTypical Case Types IncludeTraumaOrthopedicsGeneral SurgeryGI ProceduresENTOutpatient ProceduresQualificationsM.D. or D.O.
with completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency ProgramBoard Certified in AnesthesiologyActive and unrestricted Louisiana Medical LicenseCurrent ACLS, PALS, and BLS certificationsCurrent DEA/Narcotic LicenseExcellent interpersonal, leadership, and decision-making skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a high-performing, fast-paced environment
