Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown, NY, is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join their nationally recognized team. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive anesthesia care within a state-of-the-art, 383-bed facility, serving a diverse patient population. The successful candidate will contribute to a Magnet-recognized hospital known for nursing excellence and high-performing specialties.

  • 383-bed facility
  • Case assignments include Endo, general, ortho, labor and delivery, radiology, URO, vascular, GYN, ENT, neuro, and plastics
  • Care team model that focuses on giving everyone a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping them to deliver care excellence

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
  • Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious ad/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
  • Pre-anesthesia assessment
  • Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
  • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
  • Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Compensation

  • Salary: $550,000
  • Sign-on Incentives (Bonus with/without retention, Training Assistance, or Loan Repayment): $100,000
  • Option to become a distribution pool participant after 1 year

Shift & Schedule

  • 8 weeks PTO

Requirements

  • M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
  • ECFMG and FLEX
  • Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
  • Currently licensed as a physician
