Anesthesiologist (MD/DO)

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologist to join our anesthesia team supporting surgical services in the Raleigh, North Carolina area. This is a salaried role — not a per-diem or shift-rate arrangement — designed to give the physician predictable annual income, a fixed number of scheduled OR days, and six weeks off built into the calendar. The anesthesiologist functions either independent or in a care team model, providing medical direction and supervision for CRNAs across concurrent operating rooms. Days are approximately 9 hours of scheduled OR time. No call, weekends or holidays.

SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION

Candidates select the schedule that fits them. Annual salary is based on 46 worked weeks per year, with 6 weeks off:

Salary is paid on a standard payroll cycle regardless of case volume in any given week. Figures above are exclusive of the signing bonus and benefits described below.

$20,000 signing bonus.

REQUIREMENTS

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited anesthesiology residency.
• Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology (ABA or AOBA).
• Active North Carolina medical license, or eligibility to obtain one (licensure costs covered).
• Current ACLS/BLS certification and a clean malpractice and licensure history.
• If working a care team model, experience providing medical direction for CRNAs in a care team model, supervising up to three concurrent rooms.
