Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center is seeking a Full Time Anesthesiologist to join their team. This new acute care facility, expected to be completed in October 2022, will provide residents of Lancaster and York counties with increased access to Penn State Health's expertise and specialty services. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a growing healthcare system focused on delivering quality care close to home.

  • New acute care facility expected to be completed in October 2022.
  • 132 private patient beds and 10 observation beds.
  • Expected health care employees: About 700.
  • Supervision model 1:2.
  • Diverse case mix including OB.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.
  • Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
  • Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.
  • Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
  • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed.
  • Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Compensation

  • Salary: $525,000 annually.
  • Sign on Incentive: $100,000.

Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of Anesthesiology Residency.
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified.
  • Current medical licensure.
  • ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable).
