Anesthesiologist

PRIME St. Mary’s Kankakee Hospital is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join their team in Kankakee, IL. • 182-bed acute care facility
• Peritoneal dialysis unit, one of just 91 in the United States, is recognized nationally
• State-of-the-art Family Birthing Center
• Anesthesia team provides services for five or six operating rooms daily
• Anesthesia team includes three anesthesiologists and seven CRNAs working in a care team model

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Compensation

• Salary: $625,000
• Sign on Incentive: $75,000

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
• BE or BC
• Current medical licensure
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
