- Anesthesia team includes six physicians and two CRNAs
- Thirteen operating rooms
- Department averages 30–50 cases per day
- EMR: Epic
Responsibilities
- Provide OB coverage, including TOLAC
- Handle pediatric cases, primarily tonsillectomies and adenoidectomies
- Perform conscious sedation
- Supervise other team members as required
Shift & Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Weekends are call only
- Night call required every 3–4 days
Requirements
- Board Certified in Anesthesiology
- Active Iowa license or IMLC with LOQ
- ACLS certification
- Availability for a minimum of two weeks per month
- Availability required during the weeks of November 23 and December 21
- COVID vaccination
- Clean malpractice history with no settled or pending cases
