Anesthesiologist

North American Partners in Anesthesia is seeking a dedicated professional to join their Houston practice. The group consists of anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and CAAs working together in a care team model at Fannin Surgicare and The Women's Hospital of Texas. Providers enjoy a collaborative environment with low turnover and exposure to a wide variety of complex cases across GYN, general, outpatient, OB, and pediatric care.

Practice Info

• Practice provides anesthesia services at Fannin Surgicare and The Women's Hospital of Texas
• Group consists of 10 anesthesiologists, 29 CRNAs and CAAs
• Care team model involving anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and CAAs
• Practice consists of GYN, general, outpatient, OB, and some pediatrics
• Exposed to a wide variety of complex cases

Responsibilities

• Case assignments involving mainly OB cases, pediatric, GYN, and some cosmetics
• Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
• Responsible for the medical management of patients rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition

Compensation

• Salary: $615K

Qualifications

• M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
• ECFMG and FLEX
• Completion of approved Residency in Anesthesia
• Currently licensed as a Physician
