UPMC Hanover in Hanover, PA, is seeking a Per Diem Anesthesiologist to join their team. This role involves providing comprehensive anesthesia care for a diverse range of surgical procedures. The successful candidate will contribute to a Joint Commission-accredited facility, which is also recognized as a Certified Primary Stroke Center and a Blue Distinction Center for Maternity Care.
Practice Info
- Diverse case mix including orthopedics, general surgery, urology, endoscopy, ENT, and ophthalmology
- No cardiac or neuro cases
- Limited pediatric cases
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
- Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
- Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitor the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
- Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
Compensation
- Hourly Rate: $250 per hour
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Current medical licensure
- ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
