Anesthesiologist

Anesthesiology coverage is needed beginning in February on an ongoing basis at a small hospital in Griffin, Georgia. This role involves providing anesthesia services within an operating room setting under a physician supervision model. Clinicians will enjoy a light call volume and a varied general surgical caseload while working alongside supportive CRNAs.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services under a physician supervision model during day shifts within an operating room setting
• Handle a surgical case mix including bread and butter, endoscopy, and orthopedic procedures
• Provide active coverage from 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM and beeper call from 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with 24-hour weekend beeper call also required

Shift & Schedule

• Dates needed: February - Ongoing
• Day Shift
• 1 week on / 1 week off schedule (Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
• Shifts transition to active coverage from 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM and beeper call from 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with 24-hour weekend beeper call also required
• Call required: Yes

Qualifications

• Board certification is negotiable for all clinicians considered for this role
• Block proficiency required
