Anesthesiologist

North American Partners in Anesthesia is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to join their team at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Ft. Myers, Florida. This non-call taking position offers the opportunity to work in a large, 624-bed hospital that houses the only Level II Trauma Center between Bradenton and Miami. The role involves a wide range of case assignments within a collaborative care team model.

Responsibilities

• Case assignments: General, Endo, Ortho, Vascular, Neuro, GYN, Urology, Radiology, ENT
• Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
• Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition

Compensation

• Salary: $430K
• Sign on Incentive: $50K

Requirements

• M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
• ECFMG and FLEX
• Completion of approved Residency in Anesthesia
• Currently licensed as a Physician
